Going to the market is a great way to get a feel for local life in a lively, picturesque and friendly atmosphere. It can also be a great way to eat fresh produce at great prices, especially seafood. Here’s our selection of Paris open-air markets, which we particularly like.
Marché Bastille
It’s one of the biggest markets in Paris. It’s our favorite and we frequent it regularly. You’ll find a wide variety of products at very attractive prices. If you like seafood, you can sample it on the spot. At the end of the market, go for a coffee. The area is full of friendly bistros. Come and discover!
